This Perles & rubans pattern is the perfect complement to the Fantasy Viking pattern. It adds a pair of fur boots (that attach at the back with hook-and-loop straps), a cape with a fur hood, a horned helmet, a shield and a double axe. Perfect project if you like crafting!

Viking Accessories

Wish I could give this pattern more than 5 stars. This was the most fun I have had sewing/crafting/designing/researching - all the things that made the original idea of Pleasant Company so great. I learned so many things, both historical, and creative techniques. I think I used every medium I have in my stash. I don't think I will ever throw anything away because I learned so many ways to use "findings".. This is a time management process. You fabricate one item while you wait for another to dry. I sewed fur, glued, paper-mached, punched, painted, and assembles pieces. SO MUCH FUN! Ind you get to add your own decorating techniques. Great fit. Great instructions. BE SURE to get the coordinating pattern for the Viking outfit, Have fun!

Horns?

Please review the historical information regarding the Vikings. They did not wear horned helmets. The Minnesota Vikings football team sports a horned helmet with braided yellow hair, but that is fiction. So to be more historical please leave off the horns.

A Crafting Extravaganza

Haven’t had this much fun crafting in quite awhile! Working with paper mache, acrylic paints, & faux fur was a blast. This pattern required time & patience to create, but the results were delightful. The designer walks you through each crafting project with great photos & directions.
