Pretend play taken to a whole new level! Make this doll-size marionette theater for you and your dolls to put on a miniature marionette performance. This 16" x 12" theater is easy to make and folds up neatly for easy storage. The unique pocket design of the walls make the cardboard wall inserts easily replaceable. The back panel has a curtain with two additional backdrop options and the stage features working curtains. As a special bonus, this pattern includes instructions for making a single point and a 5 point marionette control rod with an adjustable handle specifically designed to be held by your doll. To help get started, we've also included a short little Christmas play you can use for your first performance.

Recommended Fabrics: Theater and Backdrop in medium weight cotton, muslin, sateen, or linen. Not suitable for knits. Curtain in lightweight woven or knit fabrics such as jersey, velveteen, silk, batiste, or lame.

- Backdrops - Two 12 3/4” x 10 1/2” pieces of fabric

- One yard 3/8” wide elastic
- 2 yards 3/8” wide ribbon
- 32” x 11 1/2” piece of 1/4” thick foam core board or corrugated cardboard
- One 16” 1/4” diameter dowel
