You can create a comfy cozy sweater for your doll with this fun knitting PDF pattern from Doll Tag Clothing!  This sweater is knitted in cables and is knitted from the bottom up.  This classic sweater looks great on boy dolls too!

Supplies Needed: 
Yarn:  1 ball of 4 ply family knit.
Needles: Set of needles in size US 3-1/4, crochet hook for neckline, 1 cable needle
Notions: Stitch holder, 3 Buttons or Snaps

Skill Level: This is a knitting pattern, you must be familiar with the knitting terms to understand the instructions.

What You Get: One 11 page knitting pattern that you digitally download as a PDF file so you can start your project immediately!  A PDF reader is required to view and print the files (example: Adobe Reader or Preview for MAC). The download link is received immediately after the transaction is complete. Print copies are NOT available.

Comfy Cables

Due to the fact that the stated yarn is discontinued, the designer should update the pattern with a suitable yarn & the requirements needed. Other than that, it's a great pattern! I haven't found anything comparable.

Comfy Cables

Again as stated below, a very very well written pattern. Take the time to read through the pattern and even make a swatch of the cable pattern to achieve the gauge needed. These steps will be very helpful. I use a variegated yarn (use in making fair isle sweater, since this yarn is very thin) to give the sweater a pop of colors and will look fabulous along with her fall wardrobe, just as the leaves are beginning to turn.

Tranditional Cable Style

This pattern is very well written and can be knit by anyone who knows how to make a cable stitch. Because it is knit in fine gauge yarn and has many cables to be worked it's not an instant gratification project, but it is a very satisfying one. If your doll need a beautiful wardrobe this is well worth your time. I have another of this designer's patterns that I'm looking forward to knitting soon.
