Based on the fabulous coat worn by everyone’s favorite pirate, this gorgeous little hooded raincoat, by Little Miss Muffett, has a few tricks of its own. Being totally reversible, from sleeve cuffs to belt, it also has reverse color-way pockets, secret inside pockets and the hood is generous for dolly hair. The cute Umbrella Sheath is also reversible. Made from pliable fabrics with a sheen, such as Chintz, wax-impregnated fabrics or Quilter’s Cotton, and with plenty of top-stitching together with a unique construction technique, this relatively easy PDF pattern creates an adorable and stylish little raincoat which every 18” girl should not be without. This pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl ®.

Supplies Needed:
-Fabric Requirements: Fabrics used for these Reversible Raincoats were wax-impregnated Batik with Faux Suede as contrast, Lightweight Wash-Bag Waterproofing with Quilter’s Cotton, and Chintz with Cotton as contrasts. Any lightweight, pliable fabric with a sheen which resembles waterproofing is suitable. PVC and Plastic Laminates are not advisable due to the cut of the Raincoat. Knit fabrics are not suitable.
Umbrella Sheath fits 8 ¾” Umbrella from umbrella tip to bottom of handle; Body approx. 6 ½” from tip to end of spokes.
