A very stylish and versatile all-in-one dress, by Little Miss Muffett, resembling a skirt, blouse and jacket, teamed with a gorgeous knitted beret is a must-have outfit for your 18-inch girl’s Paris holiday. The Jacket features three front insert options - an inserted metal zipper, lace or piping; it has shoulder gathered, elbow-length sleeves with rounded fold-up cuffs which match the round necked blouse front. The jacket front and back, cuffs and the blouse front, are lined and top-stitched. Three pretty buttons on the blouse front match the buttons on either side of each sleeve cuff. The gathered skirt is edged with narrow lace and the dress closes in back with hook and loop tape. The very easy knitted beret with stalk, finishes off the outfit perfectly. This easy PDF pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
Supplies Needed:
Fabric Used – Quilter’s Cotton was used for the Skirt, Blouse Front and Jacket. Lightweight Cotton was used as lining on the Blouse Front and Jacket Fronts and Back. Nylon Lace edges the skirt, and zippers, lace and piping were used for the design features on the Jacket Fronts. Tiny ¼” wide scrap-booking buttons were used on the Blouse Front and Sleeve Cuffs. The Beret was made using Sport weight yarn. This Pattern is not suitable for knits.
