NOT! for Knits Circle Skirt 18" Doll Clothes

10 reviews   |

Attention all knit-phobic seamstresses! Does your doll dream of days when girls wore twirly petticoats? Do you have a soft spot for vintage fashion? Have you been longing to make a circle-style skirt, but depriving your doll because you thought you had to use knit fabrics? Now you can both feel special when you style your own retro-style Circle Skirt and bonus Petticoat by Forever 18 Inches!

All the options and variations of this special PDF pattern are designed with a full circle skirt. You can use delicate layers with Option 1, make an easy-level contemporary skirt with Option 2, or sew an authentic historical version with Option 3.

All versions of the skirts can be worn with the optional petticoat for a fun retro look, or without it for a contemporary vibe. It's designed to peek out from the skirt hem, so be sure to play with all the fun possibilities with color!

Best of all, all options are specifically designed for woven fabrics. When you choose this skirt pattern, you're not acting like a coward, you're being historically accurate! Now--go hold your head high and sew:)

This pattern was sized on a recently purchased American Girl Doll (Chest: 11”, Waist: 10 ¾”, Hips: 12 ½”). If your doll is older/larger/smaller, you may need to make adjustments to the pattern for an optimal fit.
