Autumn Jumper is a spunky little jumper set that is just the thing for an afternoon romp collecting the last of the wildflowers on a warm Autumn day.
The under dress has a drop-waist with two rows of gathered skirting that are just the right length to peek out from underneath the bottom of the jumper. The lightly puffed raglan sleeves are ¾ length and gathered in at the forearm with a narrow fabric band. The neckline is finished with a scooped yoke that is designed specifically for the jumper straps to lay across.
The jumper is reminiscent of an Edwardian Era play apron and features a single drawstring pocket that can be embellished with tiny hand embroidered flowers. The front of the jumper is gathered in with a series of tucks, but simple gathers could be used if preferred. The straps are secured with snaps and finished with decorative buttons.

Suggested Fabrics: Under Dress and Jumper Lining in light to medium weight woven fabrics such as quilting cotton, gingham, linen, or lawn. Not suitable for knits. Jumper in medium weight fabrics such as wool, linen, suiting, corduroy, or flannel. Not suitable for knits. Tights in light to medium weight knit fabric such as cotton or cotton blend T-shirt, jersey, interlock, or lightweight sweater. Check the stretch on the fabric to determine the correct pattern piece.
