Serenade Maxi Dress 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

7 reviews   |

The Italian word serenata means "an evening song," and the noun serenade is a tune played or sung, either for one specific person or for a larger audience, outside.* The Serenade Maxi Dress, by Forever 18 Inches, is a nod to romance and balmy evenings, where casual glamour and an evening under the stars combine to create that one unforgettable dress that's remembered long after the special occasion has become a memory. The dress features a fitted, dropped bodice with a graceful curve, a high-low skirt, and pretty bias ties that add an unexpected touch to the back. The skirt can be gathered, ruffled, banded, or a graceful circle that's ready to twirl during a dance. Two sets of cutting lines and comprehensive step-by-step instructions ensure a good fit and a pleasant sewing experience for a wide range of seamstress sewing skills. Special directions that make it easy to gather and attach yards of ruffles are also included. You can even hum a favorite song to your doll as you sew in anticipation!

This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
