Make a cute dress to wear to the mall or just for fun. This pattern makes use of pre-ruffled or textured fabric. You can also create your own ruffles and textures using different trims or fringe. The dress has a hook and loop tape closure in the back. This PDF pattern is designed for 18" soft body dolls.
Recommended Fabrics: Woven fabric works best for this pattern. Cotton fabrics are just great to play with! OPTION A: Look out for pre-ruffled fabrics or textured fabrics for the skirt part.
Supplies Needed:
-Bodice Fabric - 2x (¼ x ¼ yard)
For Skirt part:
-Option A: Pre-ruffled fabric - 1x (¼ x ½ yard)
-Option B: Fabric 1x (¼ x ½ yard)
-Option B: Fringing, trim or pre-ruffled ribbon that is about 1” wide - 100”
-Thread
-hook and loop tape
-Ribbon for “belt band” – 1/2” wide – 7.5”
-Slider Buckle – 1x – The belt ribbon must be able to slide through it
