This simple dress is a classic wardrobe staple. The PDF pattern includes multiple options: two skirt lengths, 4 sleeve options (sleeveless, 3/4 sleeve, long and short sleeves), invisible zipper, doll-sized zipper or hook and loop tape. It includes detailed instructions for techniques that will take the fear out of sewing with knits.
This PDF sewing pattern by QTπ Pattern Co is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: Medium-weight cotton/lycra knits, medium polyester knits, swim and dance 4-way stretch, stretch velour or lighter weight Ponte de Roma. Knits should be sturdy and retain shape after being stretched. Not suitable for overly light-weight knits. The ideal knit should stretch from 4”- 5”.
