Day Dreamer Dress 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

1 review   |

Your 18-inch doll will love this beautiful Dress & Cap ensemble, by Little Miss Muffett. Inspired by the Harajuku Station Fashions, this soft ‘Girlie Girl’ Dress, made to look like a skirt and top, charming Arm Warmers and a prettily decorated Cap is perfect for early Fall. The fully-lined Bodice which closes with Hook & Loop Tape at Centre Back, has piped Princess seams for a slimmer silhouette. A ‘Blouse’ insert with three small buttons sits between narrow piped Lapels. Piped Shoulder Straps are finished with small buttons or studs and the piped Waistband is finished with two optional eyelets to carry the Waist Ribbon. Choose soft flowy fabric such as Viscose, Chiffon, Georgette, Lycra®, etc. for the gathered Skirt, and Power Mesh, Stretch Netting, Lycra®, etc. for the Arm Warmers. The fully-lined Cap has topstitching on the Crown seams and an optional small covered button at the apex. The gathered Crown and Peak fit neatly into the piped Side Band. Decorate the Cap as desired.

This relatively easy pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
