The Liberty Jane® Bandeau Top and Dress 18 inch doll clothes PDF pattern means summer time style for your American Girl® Doll! Design includes a fully lined fitted empire waist bodice with center front neck tie. Skirt portion of the top is designed to skim the dolls body with a simple A-line shape. The top closes in the back with a simple hook and loop tape closure, but snaps or buttons can also be used.

Bonus: Dress variation is also included! Make a dress with a ruffle at the hemline for a delicate and airy summertime look!

Suggested fabrics: The design works with both knits and wovens. It has been designed to fit an 18 inch soft bodied doll such as an American Girl® but will also fit similarly sized dolls.

A great beginner's pattern

As a beginner not confident at all with sewing, this was a great pattern to boost confidence. Instructions were easy to follow and the finished product looked great. Am very grateful for this site and how it lets beginners know which patterns are easy. I can't wait to learn to sew the other patterns I've bought

Great pattern, more photos

Just wanted to share photos of the bandeau top that I made for my 18" Journey Girl Dana doll a few years ago. My previous review of 10/06/17 shows the dress version on Dana. This is the top version. Thanks so much for a wonderful, easy pattern!

Great, easy pattern for beginners

This was a fun pattern to make with clear, easy to understand instructions. I made the top and the dress variation for my Journey Girl Dana 18" doll (she is the slim body type doll) and it fits well on her. Highly recommend this pattern to beginners like myself and once you've made a few, it will help build up your sewing confidence. Thanks for a great pattern!

Perfect top for fancy outfits, too!

I made this top in a sparkly silver fabric to go with a pale blue and silver snowflakes full-length party skirt, using ribbon for the halter tie. It came out beautifully, sews up so quickly, and looks stunning over a ball gown skirt! My granddaughter had a fancy outfit under the tree for her AG dolls!
