Dark Apprentice 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

Train your doll as a Dark Apprentice in this four piece costume, from Stitchery and Snowflakes. The robe features pleating on the sleeve and open sides for easy maneuvering during battle. The robe is held by a pleather belt with decorative straps, silver brads, attached loin cloth, and closes with hook and loop tape in the back. The tunic has decorative top-stitching on the Mandarin style collar and no sleeves for an alternate look when visiting hot environments. Wide leg pants complete the look. Bonus! Create your own light weapon to arm your Dark Apprentice for battle with any enemy.

Recommended Fabrics: Linen, Cotton, or other woven fabrics, not suitable for knits

Supplies Needed:

• 1/2 yard of woven fabric, such as Linen
• 1/4 yard of lining fabric, such as Cotton
• matching thread
• 2 black snaps, size 4/0
• 22 inches of 1/4 inch wide elastic
• Optional: scrap of light weight interfacing
• for belt: scrap piece of pleather or leather 13 1/2 inches by 4 inches, 8 silver grommets or brads, strong glue, hook and loop tape 3/4 inch (or 3/8 inch) wide
• TOOLS: leather punch, grommet setting tools
• for bonus weapon: 2 bracelet length glow sticks, black duct tape
