The Blouse features a simple design with a comfortable fit. Loose enough to be worn over a pair of jeans, but fitted enough to be tucked into your favorite skirt! It features dainty little puff sleeves gathered at both the armscye and the hemline. The top is open all the way in the back for easy on and off dressing. It can be finished with hook and loop tape or snaps if desired.
The Tank Top features a streamlined fit with straps made in self-fabric. The gathered detail at center front is a cute design detail but can be left off for a more casual look. The tank top opens/closes in the back with hook and loop tape.
Pair the tops with the Liberty Jane Pleated Skirt to achieve the cover look! The blouse also looks great paired with the Harper Skirt. So many ways to mix and match these tops, they're sure to become a wardrobe staple!
Supplies Needed:
- 1/4 yard woven fabric for the blouse
- 1/4 yard knit fabric for the tank top (optional fold over elastic for straps if desired)
- Thread
- Hook and loop tape
- Iron and pressing tools
- Hand sewing needle
Skill Level: Intermediate. You will need the basic understanding of how to use a sewing machine and be familiar with sewing straight seams and zigzag seams. This pattern teaches how to sew a narrow hem, use gathering stitches, sew on Hook and loop tape, and sew a simple knit tank top. Skills needed are basic, but the techniques and fabrics require patience and attention to detail.
