Make a 1960’s inspired coat dress for your vintage loving dolls.
This 1960’s inspired coat dress features ¾” sleeves, decorative trim, and front buttons. Other details include a peter pan collar, slightly gathered skirt, and front princess seams. Dress can either be made with a buttonhole closure or using snaps. Recommended for brocade fabrics but due to fraying, it is recommended to use a fray blocking product.

Recommended Fabrics: Brocade but can be made with most fabrics.
Supplies Needed:
• ⅓ yd fabric for dress
• Fat quarter for facing
• Maxi piping
• Piping foot (recommended)
• Lightweight fusible interfacing
• ⅛” - ¼” ribbon or cording for tie
• 6 - 7/16” or ½” self-cover buttons
• 4 small sew on snaps (if not doing buttonhole closure)
• Fray blocking product (recommended)
• Needle
• Thread
