Sky Ninja 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

2 reviews   |

Sky Ninja, by Crafty Lil Turkey, is a modern take on a ninja outfit with its asymmetrical front and raglan sleeves. The raglan sleeve comes with a half and half design for the option of adding an accent color on the bottom. The shoulders can be accented with piping at the shoulder to make them stand out. The front can be as simple as wrapping it and tying it with the included belt or closed with three snaps/hooks. There is also a hood and a removeable mask!

This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl® or boy!

This pattern is also available for 14.5 inch dolls.

Sky Ninja 18 inch doll Pattern

This was an easy sew. My grandson was thrilled with the outfit for his American Doll. I will be buying more patterns as it is hard to find outfits for the boy dolls

I had the pleasure to test this pattern. Actually, it was my grandson's request that I make this outfit. There are so few superhero patterns for boy dolls. The sewing and instructions are great. In fact, this was the first sewing with a machine which he has done -- he's eight. He was so proud of his efforts. I did the bias trim work, but he did the rest. My one tip is that when you cut the little bias strips for the front closures, cut them around 3" and fit them to the doll you are using. GS's doll was much slimmer than mine, and I had to recut the strips to fit around my PM boy. I used a woven cotton and had no problem with the outfit's fit. In fact, I thought the pants pattern was a good basic pattern for elastic waist pants. Right width, right length. And I loved the asymmetry of the jacket.
