Make a 1970's style outfit with upcycled lightweight denim!
This groovy outfit includes a reversible halter top and a hip-hugger denim skirt.
The top has a hook and loop closure at the neck and a lower back tie band.
The skirt has contrasting front and back inserts to add flare to the bottom of the skirt. It also features a front fly with button closure and has optional rivets to make it more realistic.

Recommended Fabrics: Upcycled lightweight denim and cotton
Supplies Needed:
- ⅓ yd lightweight denim material (or upcycle a pair of old jeans)
- Fat quarter for skirt inserts, waistband lining, halter top lining and band
- Small piece of ½” hook and loop tape
- 17mm or smaller jeans button
- 9 - 5mm rivets (optional)
- Denim thread (recommended)
- Denim needle (recommended)
- Thread
- Sewing needle
