Fab Forties is a vintage-inspired dress for your 18” doll. The dress buttons down the front, showing off the gently curved sweetheart neckline, typical of the 1940’s and early 1950’s. The full skirt is gathered into a pointed waistline, and easy directions are given for a perfectly fitted seam every time. Depending on the fabric choices, you can achieve the look of a “vest” over the dress, or a charming summer dress. The flower appliqué pattern is included for the vest version. Two sleeve options are available; a short puff sleeve gathered into a band or a feminine flutter sleeve. Both versions can be made with or without the sash, which ties in the back with a bow. Special techniques are introduced that create a professional finish on the inside.

-Scrap of lightweight fusible woven interfacing 1-1/2”x 22”
-Water soluble marking pen
