Featured in the 2012 Spring Line International Collection, this has become a true classic! Tiny authentic detail is the key to a realistic looking scaled down jacket and this one has captured those details perfectly! This pattern is designed to be made two ways. There is the more advanced flat -fell seam technique or a more simple faux style seam technique.  33 page PDF file with an optional 4 page text only summary of instructions to save on ink!

-1/3 yard thin denim fabric for jacket
-(12)  1/4″ buttons 
-2 snaps
-Contrasting thread

Denim Jacket

Overall easy to follow pattern. It's been a long time since sewing so much detail but it came out better than I thought it would for the first time using this pattern. The jacket was a little bigger than expected and had to make some adjustments for my particular doll which was purchased at Walmart.

Lots of options

I made this with a ruffle instead of the bottom band and ruffled sleeves instead of sleeve bands. I put lace over the insets on the front and back. I made it from a yellow stretch denim. It went to France and my customer just loved it!

Love this pattern, beautiful and stylish, easy download, easy print as with all Pixie Faire patterns. Fully detailed instructions and pictures in the pattern, and love how the patterns work well with different fabrics. Highly recommended.
