This darling cross body purse is the perfect accessory for every doll. You can achieve many different looks with the two options we have included. For more of an upscale look, the pleated pocket on the front flap is the answer. If you would like a simpler purse to add your own cute accents, choose view A. It's a blank canvas ready to embellish! The purse is fully lined and has a flat front slip pocket as well as a small interior slip pocket. Perfect for those tiny treasures! The construction is simple with just a few pattern pieces and simple box pleats to shape the corners of the bag. The strap can be sewn from fabric or choose to use decorative trim for a variety of looks!
Suggested fabrics include twill, denim, faux leather or suede, corduroy, velveteen, or any mid-weight fabric. Have fun adding a little surprise and delight to the inside of the bag with a printed lining or accent color. Quilting cottons work for both the lining and the bag as well. Fat quarters or even fat eighths work too!
