Socks and Smokey are two adorable little kittens that are the perfectly-sized pet cat for your 18-inch dolls.
Made from short pile soft cuddle plush (Minky® in the US, Shannon Cuddle 3 in the UK), these cute little kittens are so sweet, you just want to pick one up and hug him (or her!).
The Socks & Smokey PDF sewing pattern, by Genniewren Designs, has been designed with novice toymakers in mind. Smokey is the slightly easier option as her body is made up of only four pieces. Socks has separate additional pattern pieces for the white paws and tail tip. Other than that, the kittens are made in exactly the same way, although Socks has contrast inner ears and a contrasting nose.
The required techniques to make and finish the kittens are all explained with step by step photographs.
Socks and Smokey are so adorable, your dolls will love these new additions to the family. You won't want to stop at making just one cat, you'll need a whole litter of these cute little kittens.
