Supplies Needed:
-Thread
-1/4 yard of wool, velvet, velveteen, or linen for the crown
-1/4 yard velvet, velveteen, satin, or linen for contrasting brim (if you choose to make the brim contrast. The instructions do not show a contrasting brim.
-1/4 yard of cotton for the lining
-ribbon, trim, or embellishment
Optional: Medium Weight Fusible Interfacing (If you are using a thinner fabric, such as linen, you can fuse medium weight interfacing to the wrong side of the crown pieces for more stability.)
Skill Level: Easy. Sewing technique is beginner level. Felting technique is fairly easy as well, but may require adult supervision and a bit of patience.
