This pattern is designed to be used with prefinished trims, ruffles, and embellishments. The cover example uses a pretty vintage handkerchief and your finished dresses will differ based on the trims you choose.
The Jennifer and Kate pattern is available in two great sizes: for 18" dolls such as American Girl® and for 14.5" dolls such as WellieWishers™.
Supplies Needed: -1/4 yard for dress of single color.
-Scraps or 1/8 yard for dress with contrasting elements.
-6 1/2 inches of
hook and loop tape-Matching thread
-Options: 1/2 yard ribbon, a small embellishment such as ribbon or a ribbon rose. Two or three small buttons for embellishment. Lace or a vintage type handkerchief.
