Festive Costume Accessories Pattern for 14 to 14.5 Inch Dolls

This PDF pattern includes accessories to create Snow and Gingerbread people. Add the elements in the pattern to your favorite dress or jumpsuit to create the different festive characters.
Instructions are included to add applique "coal buttons" to a snowman suit or rick rack to a Gingerbread dress or suit.

Elements included in this pattern are:
Snowman Cap, Hat and Scarf
Gingerbread Cap (boy), Granny Hat (Girl) and Bow Tie

This PDF sewing pattern is designs to fit 14 to 14.5 inch dolls such as Hearts for Hearts Girls® and WellieWishers™

This pattern is also available on Pixie Faire for 18" dolls such as American Girl®.

Recommended Fabrics: • Fleece or polar fleece. Minky or crushed velvet can also be used. • Granny Hat - Medium weight woven fabrics – Linen, Cotton, quilter’s cotton. • Snowman and Gingerbread Cap – Fabric with a slight stretch works best such as fleece. • Felt - Snowman Hat • Flannel – Snowman Scarf

Supplies Needed:
• Matching Threads
• Marking pen or pencil
• Iron and ironing board
• Hand sewing needle
• Fabric Glue Pen or Glue stick
OR Fusible Web (for appliqué) – Remnants that are the size of your character appliqués
• Loop turner
• Bodkin or small safety pin
• Fray blocker or lighter (burn the ribbon ends)

• Black fabric remnants for button appliqué
OR 3x 1/2" Black pom-poms OR 3x Black buttons
• Cap - Fabric – White Fleece – 6.5” x 12.5”

• Cap - Hand Sew Snap – 1/4” wide – x1
• Hat - Black Felt – 9” x 14”
• Hat - Fabric lining – 8” x 14”
• Hat - Red Ribbon – 5/8” wide – 14.5”
• Scarf - Fabric - flannel – 4” x 21”

Gingerbread Man
• Rick Rack – White – 3/8” wide – 85” (if you are doing all the elements)
• 3x Colored 1/2" wide buttons OR pom-poms that look like sweets
• Cap - Fabric – Ginger Fleece – 7” x 12.5”
• Cap – Ginger Ribbon – 3/8” wide – 3”
• Cap - Hand Sew Snap – 1/4” wide – x1
