The Garrison Cap or Field Service Hat replaced the Hobby Hat later in the war and for those serving overseas. It is easily folded when not in use. It has an narrow split folded top and shapely overlapping folded sides. Piping can be used to distinguish.
Easy to wear with a rockin' 40's victory curl or pack for travel.
