"Hi, I’m Peggy and I love sewing—especially for children. This is a fairly recent discovery for me, as I have been sewing since I was nine years old, but mostly for adults.
When my twin granddaughters were born, I discovered how much I loved sewing for them. And since they were little girls, I wanted to make a safe, soft cloth doll for each of them. I tried lots of doll patterns, but I wasn’t happy with the results, so I finally made my own pattern.
These dolls became a big hit at local craft shows! It was such fun to make them, clothes and all, but making shoes for them was hard.
After I enrolled in the Liberty Jane Design Academy and later the Pattern Academy, I became quite interested in designing my own doll shoes and clothing patterns. That led to my first published pattern: The Sweet Sneaks, a machine embroidery pattern, which I published with Pixie Faire in 2017.
Soon I began publishing more shoe patterns, and sewing patterns. And now, you can get my doll design and other toy designs, my machine embroidery shoe designs, and lots of my doll clothes patterns too, all on Pixie Faire! Thanks so much for your support of my creations. I am blessed to be able to offer them to others on Pixie Faire!"
Peggy is also a huge supporter of Sew Powerful and donates a portion of her pattern sales proceeds to the programs supported through the non-profit!
Inquiring Minds Want To Know:
Q: What's your favorite food?
Chocolate!
Q: Coffee or tea?
Right now, I'm stuck on Mocha Coffee.
Q: What inspired your brand name?
We retired to a mountain house on a frog pond a few years ago, thus the "Frog Pond," but the "Frog" is also an acronym for "Fully Relying on God".
Q: Where's your favorite place to shop?
Well, the fabric stores, of course! I can visit at least 6 in one day! Otherwise, I'm not much of a shopper, so definitely Amazon.
Q: What’s your dream vacation?
My husband and I have dreamed of seeing the Northern Lights.
Q: Do you collect anything special?
Angel figurines! I have some in every room of our house!
We'd love to hear from you. Leave a comment and tell us which Frog Princess Fashions pattern design you love most!
Thanks, everyone!

Loving all the machine embroidery designs – just bout the blouse pattern and coordinating embroidery designs 💗
I just noticed all your lovely machine embroidery designs! I hope to use some of these in the future!
I have several of your patterns. I just LOVE that there are machine embroidery designs available for so many of them. I think my latest favorite is the First Dance Dress. It reminds me of something I would have worn when I was MUCH younger.
I love the embroidered trim on the collar of the blue and white dress. Such a lovely detail!!
My favorite is the Key West Wrap dress, so versatile.
I like the charm school dress!
Love love love this dress!
These dresses are absolutely beautiful!!
I enjoyed Waikiki Waves but there are so many cute patterns. I especially enjoy making shoes of various types. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.
So feminine.
I love the details and embroidery options on the different patterns. How the details and fabric choices can make such fun variations. I have a couple on my list to try out soon.
My favorite is the Charm School Dress for a Fashion Friend. I saw at least 5 different looks on the pattern site, it’s so hard to choose which to start on first!
I love the Dream Bride dress!
These are so pretty Z I like this pattern!
I like the Charm School dress. I like the idea of the different machine embroidery patterns that go with this dress pattern,
I am most interested in the embroidery set for the cotillion dress. I am thrilled to see machine embroidery designs designed for the dolls. I will be looking for the shoe patterns
I really like the Holly & Lace dress for the 18” doll.
I love the Holly & Lace dress, have made several, all in Christmas fabrics. I also like the Edelweiss dress, so unique, and also good for all seasons.
I like the blue one. Blue is my favorite color.
My favorite pattern is the Key West Wrap Dress, Top, Skirt, and Bag, but the Retro Romper and Sweet Tea Dress are both close behind. My daughter requested all of them for her Corinne and Gwynn dolls. 😂
Gosh, I’ve bought several patterns of yours in the last month that I haven’t tried yet. I can’t pick a favorite.
my favorite is the happy tiers dress
Charm School dress pattern! I just added it, along with several others, to my wishlist and am happy to see it is featured this Friday!
The Holly & Lace reminds me of dresses we wore once upon a time…memories
I have three favorites, actually—the Happy Tiers Dress, Holly and Lace Dress, and because I am from Germany, the Edelweiss Dress Set.
