More About Each Doll
Lauryce – a girl who rises above the storm. Hurricane Katrina showed Lauryce the importance of reaching out to people and animals in need. Her and her friend start LIL Hearts (Living in Louisiana Hearts) to raise money through volunteering, bake sales, and charity walks for sponsored children in Haiti and animal shelters around New Orleans.
Tipi - a weaver of wonderful stories. Her father is an artistic puppet maker teaching Tipi his craft while she tells the rich stories of their country. With her creativity, she is determined to help her class by winning a mural contest to raise money for much needed school supplies.

Love both young ones but Tipi’s story won my heart. I’m an artist too and always love to imagine the picture my little outfits fit into the story I create in my mind while making them.

I’ve been sewing for 18 inch dolls for 10 years & they are a favorite of mine. But I have fallen head over heels in love with the Hearts 4 Hearts dolls. They are fun to sew for & easy for little girls to handle. I have Dell, Consuelo, & Nani.. I am happy to see that these new dolls will be available too. By the way I feel that your mailing charges are way to high. I have purchased some of my dolls from other sources because of your postage rate.

I heart Tipi. My husband was very involved with puppets when he was younger. Maybe if Tipi came to live with us he would retrieve them from the attic and put on shows for Tipi and our 4 grandchildren. I would like that also.

Both dolls are adorable and anyone would love their stories. I think Lauryce is my first choice because she is involved in animal rescuer but also thinks of others and wants to help all people. She shows girls that caring and compassion is what we all need to do to improve the world.

I love the ethnic dolls. My daughter was adopted from India and always complained that there were no dolls like her. My granddaughter received Naji for Christmas, which thrilled both her and my daughter. Every little girl should have at least one doll lookalike!
