My biggest sewing challenge is making time to sew! Sewing is a reward to me for getting “the basics” done around the home and it feels like that NEVER happens!!!
My biggest sewing challenge is making the time to do all of the projects that I want to do. I also have trouble turning small tubes, such as fingers on a doll.
Thank you for the give away opportunity, as well as your wonderful website!
My biggest sewing challenge is having to drag out all the supplies.
My biggest sewing challenge is deciding if the material is “to busy for the dolls, being that they’re only 18” tall
My biggest knitting chalenge is changing colors of yarn and carrying them over.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is learning to knit. I’ve tried so many times but never seem to have enough fingers (or maybe I need another hand). I also struggle to “read” what I’ve knit—number of stitches, number of rows, etc. I taught myself to crochet from instruction books and can follow patterns of all kinds successfully but there’s something about knitting that exceeds my mastery.
My biggest challenge is finding the time. Working full time, I never have ENOUGH time to do what I enjoy.
My biggest sewing challenge is scheduling time to sew. I do so sporadically and I which I would just make time for it every day. It’s hard to do with Little’s.
My biggest crochet challenge is keeping correct tension on the yarn.
My biggest sewing, knitting, and crochet challenge is to set aside my handwork in order to do household tasks that are less fulfilling – cleaning the bathroom for example…
My biggest sewing challenge is to get going on the clothes for the 18 inch girls and a few boys. My goal is 12 girls and 6 boys. I was really short and only gave 6 Dolls and no boys, with a wardrobe of at least 7 assorted outfits. Love the Thank you’s and the gleam in there eyes.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is not getting distracted by new projects, and actually finishing the one I’m working on.
My biggest challenge in sewing a project is the size of the project. In the past I have done quilting and those tops take sometime to make. Lately, I find that I lose interest if I don’t finish a project in a day or two.
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing up ufo’s or letting go of the ones I will never finish.
My biggest challenge as I sew is finding ways to get my grandhildren involved in each project. Since one is Logan, he will be thrilled to help with upcoming Logan patterns.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is sewing with slick, shiny fabric. I try to avoid it, but it would be nice to use once in a while "
My biggest sewing challenge is getting organized and finding fabric as I don’t live close to fabric stores. Also getting confidence back after not sewing for many years.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is…sewing knits.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is completing projects before starting at least a dozen more! " My goal for 2018 is to actually finish some of the UFO’s at my house and not start more than maybe 4-6 this year until the to finish pile is much smaller. LOL Thanks or this fun contest.
My biggest sewing challenge is having the patience to teach my granddaughter how to sew on the new sewing machine I got her for Christmas. She is extremely excited and eager to learn and see a completed project instantly!
My biggest sewing, knitting or crochet challenge is to use all the patterns, material and yarn supplies I already have before I add to the collection. Don’t see that really happening before I buy something more. To many creative ideas.
My biggest sewing challenge is storing my fabric and then finding that piece that I know is in there somewhere!
My biggest sewing challenge is to get started. When I was younger I just jumped right in and got it done. It was family, career, housework and probably some sewing. Since I’m retired there is family, volunteerism, more funerals, more meetings, more church commitments, more coffee parties, emails/facebook and did I mention it all takes twice as long as it did when I was younger. Anyway I plan to say “no” more often this year! And for all of you waiting to retire so you have time to do all your projects—Good Luck!
My biggest challenge is finding time to sew amid all my other activities.
“My biggest sewing challenge is understanding how to change measurements when enlarging or decreasing pattern sizes. For example, I have a hard time remembering how many inches to add to material to accommodate foam when making cushions. The math always throws me off. That;s why I need a pattern for just about everything I sew.”
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping my sewing area neat. When I get excited about a new sewing project who wants to clean???
My biggest sewing challenge is time, like so many others. But the one thing I lack confidence in is choosing fabrics to put together for quilts. I’ve been sewing for over 50 years, but am quite new to quilting. My grandchildren LOVE that I sew for their American Girl dolls.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding the time and staying organized and focused.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is gone…as of a few weeks ago, I completed a 7 week "purge of my sewing studio which had been a disaster. As a result I found many many unfinished projects that are now my focus. It is wonderful to know where things are and have surfaces in abundance to work on projects. Thank you for the wonderful “give aways”. Blessings to designers and all.
My biggest sewing challenge for doll clothes right now is figuring out how to make authentic looking jeans for boy dolls.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding enough time to get everything done. The day really needs to be more than 24 hours!!! :)
My biggest sewing challenge is finding separating zippers that are short enough for AG doll clothes and Wellie Wisher Doll Clothes.
My biggest challenge is finding the time to make all the projects I want to make.
My biggest sewing challenge is creating tops and blouses that actually fit me. The original patterns are always to wide or to narrow in the shoulders.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time and motivation to sew. I love sewing and sometimes I can get a lot done but sometimes I just don’t feel like it. I love your patterns, they inspire me.
As with any project, my biggest challenge is finding a place in the house where the project can take up space but remain there until I finish! Guess that’s why you sew all night long until it’s done, ha.
My biggest sewing, crochet challenge is finding TIME. I have so much I want to work on, and no time. Love the Logan doll – awesome outfit! Thanks for all the great projects and inspiration!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is me. I sometimes am so afraid to try something new – something I have not sewn before like ruffles, or pleats, or knits, etc. I need to learn to sew outside my comfort zone.
My biggest sewing challenge is making tiny pin tucks look neat and straight.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding the time I need to complete things.
My biggest challenge is in finding the correct balance of how to spend my precious time with my grandkids. I love sewing clothes for all of their dolls and stuffier, but I have to be careful to remember to just spend time being/playing with them as well.
My biggest sewing challenge is hems – always hems!
My biggest challenge is finding time that I feel well enough to sew. I suffer from depression and when I am low none of the things I enjoy get done.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting and staying organized.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finishing the insides of outfits neatly since I don’t have a serger.
My biggest sewing challenge is handling a lot of ruffles on a small piece of fabric for a doll outfit. Crazy, huh? Ruffles are time consuming. So many really cute patterns have ruffles and I avoid sewing them. No matter how carefully I sew, I always end up having to remove visible gathering stitches or fixing fabric that has been caught up into the final stitching or re-adjusting the gathering to make it more even. Drat!
My biggest sewing challenge is finding enough time! Three kids on different schedules make it hard to carve out time. But always so worth it when I do!
Sewing into the New Year with joy, finding my dream patterns to happily create- fun abounds !
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is time”
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding time to complete a project”
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to sew for inventory. I am usually sewing as orders come in and would like to have stock on hand, but it is difficult to get ahead.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is trying to get the cables to work out like they should look like. I will keep trying to learn this one.
My biggest challenge is balancing my time between family, grad school, teaching and still finding time to sew for relaxation. I am doing my best, but it is a challenge!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is deciding what fabrics/colors to put together for an outfit. It often takes me longer than the actual sewing!
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing projects I already have! I’ll have a project I’m already working on then see another and another I want to do. Now I have a stack of things I haven’t even started yet!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is I’m not organized enough. Im always searching for missing items and correct needle sizes.
My biggest challenge is finding the time to do all the projects I want to do with the allotted time available. I always want to do so many different projects and can never find the time to get them all done between work & family.
My biggest sewing challenge is stopping time so the girls and their dolls that I want to sew for don’t outgrow the desire to play dolls before I get everything done I want to sew for them. Any ideas on how to put time on pause or at least slow it down would be welcomed.
My greatest challenge is to resist buying material, patterns, and notions. I’ll have to live to be 100 to use everything I already have?
My biggest sewing challenge is keeping organized with my projects. Still trying to keep fabric organized.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding the time to do anything! I’ve got two young kids, and they have a sixth sense for when I try to pull out a craft project.
my biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is trying to decide which to tackle and complete first!….
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is how to use a serger.
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing on knits. Still learning…..
My biggest sewing, knitting or crocheting is planning the colors
For my quilts I want to make and to just get started.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to sew. This year I finally have a sewing room, so I’m hoping that I will be sewing a lot more!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is what to put my hands on. My Grandmother taught me how to crochet flowers for a shoe bag (a sewing project in Brownies to earn a badge) in the early ’60s. I learned basic knitting from my Mom and took sewing in Highschool. Now I turn to the Internet. Sewing in daylight is good for the mood and cutting/sewing in batches helps save on time. My girlfriends father once told her, "Even if you only do one seam in a day your onestep closer
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is keeping count of stitches when I am crocheting a pattern. I am not that experienced yet.
My biggest knitting challenge is too many projects started and not enough finished!!
My biggest sewing challenge is choosing the fabric combinations. :)
My biggest sewing challenge is not storing all the excess house stuff in my sewing room.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is dealing with bulky seam allowances
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is that I cant crochet or knit and I get too many sewing projects going at once. "
My biggest sewing and knitting challenge is staying on task. It seems all to often I get distracted and have to stop in the middle of the project.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crocheting challenge is that I totally suck at knitting and I really want to be able to make sweaters for my dolls!
My biggest sewing challenge is to figure out what to make first and then completing that project before I see something else I want to make. I just never have enough time!!
My biggest challenge is using my new serger. I am self-taught on all my sewing challenges, however my serger is frustrating. I have looked into classes for instruction but no one sponsors a class within 200 miles from me.
My biggest challenge in sewing is finding the time…
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is making those little patterns look good enough to give to my Granddaughter!❤️
My biggest sewing, knitting or crochet challenge is sewing a lining into projects
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is…deciding what to sew next!! I have a backlog of patterns that I am so eager to make but can only sew one at a time!! I have such a hard time deciding what to do next even though I have made a To Do list.
My biggest challenge is finding enough time to sew
The projects I want to sew. The day goes too quickly
With laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc.
My biggest challenge is focus: too many ideas in my head, difficulty in finishing anything I do start.
My biggest challenge is remembering how to thread my server! ?
My biggest sewing (or crochet) challenge is simply seeing the project I am working on! Being legally blind can sometimes make items really difficult to see even in a well lit room (which sadly my unit does not have). I try to sew as well as I can, but often I have to redo many crochet stitches or cut out bits that were sewn wrong. I’d love to have a Logan doll…I’ve wanted a boy doll long before they were “popular” so I could make some cool costumes such as Superman, Green Lantern, Deadpool, and Arrow :)
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is that I don’t know how to knit, but I love t sew, thus wanting to win the 9 patterns.
my biggest sewing , knitting, crochet challenge is putting away things before I start my next project. Before I know it my sewing room is over took by that mysterious "who made this mess " lol
My biggest sewing challenge is knowing when to stop. I refuse to leave the machine until a project is complete.
My biggest sewing and crocheting challenge is fine-tuning fit. Even when I take time to do sample swatches or measure patterns, things don’t always have that tailored finished look I desire.
Biggest knitting challenge is finding time to practice, so I can actually finish a project before it goes out of style. LOL
My biggest sewing challenge is doing a 1/4 in hem!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is just getting started. My machine needs repair and I could probably make that happen but I just put it off and pin patterns in the meantime.
Not having a doll of my own I’m never sure if my creations will fit my granddaughters dolls.
My biggest challenge is balance – there are too many things I want to do in this life. Another is amassing all sorts of cool stuff (like ornamentation) and then never deciding to use it
My biggest challenge is trying to be staisfied with my sewing results – I always feel I could have done better!
My biggest sewing, knitting, crochet challenge are: I never can get the knitting in the round correct – always mess it up. I find some crocheting patterns are very hard to follow at times and spend too much time starting over. As far as sewing goes turning tiny chiffon hems are truly a challenge at times even after I have sewn for over 50 tears on many formal gowns.
My biggest sewing challenge is trying to choose witch outfit I want to make first.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is…… to organize my sewing room so I can make all these wonderful outfits for the new boy dolls , and for the patterns for them, the boys are more popular than ever. Thank you for the variety of boy clothes patterns.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is self doubt. I see amazing patterns that I’d love to make, but never even try them because I lack self confidence in my ability.
My biggest challenge is having too many small helpers for me to get any crafting done!

My biggest sewing challenge is time! Making time for new projects can be tough in our busy house, but it is always rewarding, and cathartic!
