It's 2017 - the time when we start setting new goals for the year! Maybe it's to be a better designer, learn new sewing skills, or launch a craft business selling the items you make from all the patterns available at Pixie Faire!

My sewing room is pretty well organized since I had to make room for my new sewing machine. My goal is to learn how to use some of the awesome things it can do, finish up projects that are already cut out and start a bunch of new ones. Now if only I could convince that sewing machine to also do the house work and add about 24 hours to each day…

To stop talking about politics, and do something.
My goal for 2018 is to make healthier choices. This will include to watch less tv (excersice or stretch when I do), eat less processed foods, snack on veggies instead, spend more time on sewing, cleaning & organizing while listening to music instead. This will allow me to enjoy better quality time with grandchildren. Focus on what brings me the most joy.
My goal for 2018 is to read through the Bible in a year and sew at least 100 purses for the Sew Powerful program. Last year I was able to sew 112. From now to the end of September that’s about 12 purses every month or 3 purses a week. I’d like to challenge everyone to sew at least 1 purse a week. If you don’t have enough money to buy fabric for that many purses, see how many jeans, khakis, shirts, dresses, table clothes, shower curtains, etc. you can re-purpose. That’s what I do. It’s fun!!!
In 2018 I plan on spending more time at my sewing machine, working on my many unfinished projects!
