I’D LOVE TO TAKE A PIXIE FAIRE CLASS THAT SHOWS ME HOW TO Make matching outfits for my 10 year old daughter and her dolls. Or to make clothes for her dolls to match what she already owns.
My daughter has Down Syndrome, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism and is hearing impaired. We use her doll collection as a therapy tool, for teaching all sorts of concepts that she needs repitition and hands on experience with. And there is nothing she loves more than her dolls being the same as her. So far I have made her doll a school uniform to match hers, and her doll has a wheelchair and hearing aids. But there is so much more I want to try!

I’d love to take a Pixie Faire course that showed me how to alter patterns for odd sizes…I’ve got chubby babies and soldier dolls both too big for their closest pattern matches, but then I’ve got a slim 18 incher on whom even the Carpatina seems just a bit loose (although that’s at least an easier fix). I can no longer work so I have a very limited budget and am trying to set up a fb business that I can’t seem to get right. I am so thankful for such creative patterns. I’m a member of SWC and have taken a few of your online courses and although I have been sewing for decades, I learn new tidbits here and there (and write them down!). Your free tutorials are also wonderful. Cinnamon and Jason, you have built an amazing company and I congratulate you.
There are two things I would recommend: 1) as part of your instructions, it would be great if you could tell us “why” we should do or not do something, e.g. for a neckline in knits, why apply a 1/4 inch stabilizer and fold the fabric twice before sewing. 2) a table of contents for your tutorials.
