When I was a girl, we had a memorable camping trip as a family. We camped in the mountains of NC for a week and at the Outerbanks of NC for the next week. Funny that I remember the time in the mountains more. My dad rented a pop up camper and pulled it behind the Rambler we had. I remember loving breakfast cooked and eaten outdoors “in the clouds”. Food never tasted better! It was the best family vacation ever.
I’m not a great camper. I like sleeping in a bed but I do like being outdoors and enjoying beautiful scenery.
That would be nice to add to my daughters dolls.
The best part of camping is cooking over the fire dutch oven cooking, marshmallows, and plenty of friends
Being out in nature and connecting with family. Simple meals and restful sleep.
I used to camp my n a huge park way up north. It had many lakes and hat we could canoe on and the campground was one a small lake. We camped across that lake and found a short stream into a larger lake. It was so beautiful back there and quiet and not was it full of fish. Never saw anyone else there so it was not known well if at all.
Waking up early to the sounds of nature instead of cars, cooking up breakfast and staying up late to toast marshmallows under the the stars.
I have never been camping. I can’t say I miss it…. Not an outdoorsy type of person.
If it ever stops raining here. I’d love to set up camp in my back garden for my “kids” they would probably love it.
The casual clothes and accssories make it seem almost real/
Just being outdoors
I like going on hikes and exploring new areas. It’s also fun to hang out with families and friends who have come along.
I don’t like anything about camping except making and eating S’Mores around a campfire.
It has been so long since I have gone camping. There are so many things to like about it…getting away from routine, news, daily life, etc. I remember one time going camping and when going into the lake, these little fish came along and were trying to bite the little hairs on my legs. We don’t shave our legs on camping trips.
=-)

There is nothing I like about camping! I live in the country with a lake and woods on my property, lots of wildlife, AND I get to sleep in my own bed and use a real bathroom! lol I love the outdoors and will sleep on a bed in my screened in porch but have no need for tents and bonfires, etc. I am blessed for sure!
Family time!

Camping is taking a break from the everyday and going out into the outdoors. I enjoyed it so much when I was younger. I hope that I can share that experience with my own children. Step One: Get a tent!
I have been camping since I was little. We camped for vacation as a child and an adult, plus Scouts.
I love the whole experience, the smell of the campfire, the food, the tent, everything. And of course Smores.
Our 3 Granddaughters and their mom traveled for 6 months last summer from California to Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado (to visit us) , New Mexico, Arizona, Utah & back to California with their 5th wheel & truck. They LOVE to hike.
My favorite part of camping is leaving the city and work! I like not being on a schedule or having a ton of responsibility when we’re out camping
My favorite part of camping is—or should I say was, as I haven’t been doing that since my grandma passed away and the family stopped getting together—the sounds and smells. The sound of a fire snapping and cracking, of the waves lapping the lake shore, and of the brakes on the log trucks. The smell of the campfire, the coffee and bacon my grandma was cooking, and of the pine trees and Central Oregon desert. I also miss watching the osprey dive for fish while drinking sun tea, or going out on the lake with my grandpa to fish for kokanee and seeing the Cascades rise above the tree line.

My favorite part of camping was when I was about 3-1/2 to 5 not for sure. But I remember the family going camping and I held my hair up and Dad and everyone got a kick out of it because the water was only inches deep. I clearly remember it. But it’s also in pictures. The water was ice cold. But then the air was so hot…
I like having campfire food, being out in the woods, and spending time with my family.
Nature, forest hikes, blueberry picking
Had a VW Westphalia camper van for many many years. Loved driving with my kids from where Canada’s Heart Beats (for those who don’t know, that is Manitoba) to British Columbia, to the Maritimes and everywhere in between! So much to see and do in urban centres, towns, National and Provincial Parks… pure joy!
Best part is watching the animals in their environment.

my favorite thing about camping is that the dolls can go “camping” inside an air conditioned house. Camping is fun for doll playtime, but I prefer to vacation on a cruise boat.
I’m sorry! My favourite part about camping has always been ….coming home! Even as a child, I wasn’t a fan. (The bugs! The dirt! The outdoor toilets! The damp sleeping bag! The rocks under the damp sleeping bag! Sigh…) I’ll sew for the idea of camping, but I don’t enjoy the reality. LOL

My favorite thing about camping is the beautiful mountain air. The sky at night is spectacular! Seeing the stars away from the city lights is wonderful. Plus I love a good hot dog roasted over the fire and a perfectly toasted marshmallow for s’mores. But it’s the people you go with that make it truly great.
