This pattern is designed to be used with prefinished trims, ruffles, and embellishments. The cover example uses a pretty vintage scalloped ruffle and your finished dresses will differ based on the trims you choose.
The Jennifer and Kate pattern is available in two great sizes: for 18" dolls such as American Girl® and for 14.5" dolls such as WellieWishers™.
Supplies Needed: -1/3 yard fabric for dress of only one color.
-Dress of contrasting colors - 1/4 yard of two different colors.
-1/4 yard 0f lining
-matching thread
-6 inches of
hook and loop tape -Optional items: Vintage table runner or dresser scarf. Wide lace, 1/2 yard rickrack, ribbon or trim. A scrap of ruffled fabric, ribbon rose, buttons etc.
Skill Level: This is an intermediate level sewing pattern.
